About this tool
Drop a signed PDF and see a list of every embedded signature — the signer name, claimed reason and location, signing time, and the certificate's subject and issuer. This tool reads signature metadata; it does not verify the certificate's trust chain.
Frequently asked questions
Does this verify that the signature is valid?
No. We surface the signer name, signing date, and the certificate's subject/issuer fields. Cryptographic validity verification (trust chain, revocation) requires a desktop reader like Adobe Acrobat.
What if my PDF isn't signed?
You'll see a clear 'no signatures found' message. Many official PDFs (e.g. visual signatures in Word) only show an image — they don't contain a real cryptographic signature.
